Found: Why a moving cycle doesn’t fall over

Washington: Scientists have shed a new light on a century-long question on why given sufficient forward speed, a bicycle pushed sideways, will not fall over. The TU Delft team, in collaboration with scientists from Cornell University, centred on the following intriguing question: why is a bicycle self stable, above a certain speed? You add speed to a bike and can then give it a sideways push without it falling over.

IIT-JEE backtracks on answer release

NEW DELHI: IIT-JEE has backed out from their announcement that the answer keys would be publicly announced within 48-72 hours. Now, the solution would be posted on the website of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) by May 15 — 35 days after the examination.

Around 4.85 lakh students will appear for JEE, which will be held on April 10.
