KANPUR: A final year BTech student of IIT- Kanpur today committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel room here.
Madhuri Sale, in her early twenties, who belonged to Nalgonda district of Andhra Pradesh, was found hanging from the ceiling fan with the help of her 'dupatta' (scarf), IIT-K Registrar Sanjeev Kashalkar said.

New Delhi: The clean-energy drive has moved into top gear with the government offering incentives to push sales of electric vehicles in India. So, if you plan to buy an electric car, you may get a waiver of Rs 1 lakh (if the incentive is passed fully). The incentive for three-wheelers could be Rs 60,000 and for high-powered two-wheelers Rs 5,000.
