Dear Alumnus,

Under our ‘Alumni Outreach Programme’ it has been our endeavour this year to reach out to various segments of the IIT Alumni and extend active IIT Delhi alumni network. Some of the activities we undertook in this regard are, construction and activation of our new interactive website, which brought in alumni to an effective virtual communication platform; the promotion of new chapters at London and Dubai, and better connect with IITDEF, the effective IITD Alumni network in North America, with an objective of reaching out to our alumni from other countries; ‘SWAAGAT’, programme organized to welcome new alumni, conducted at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Noida and reactivation of our all the chapters as mentioned above in India.  We are in the process of updation and consolidation of our member database, and  plan to make access of the same available to all members through our internet to facilitate inter member connectivity.

Taking this activity further, we plan reach out to the industry leaders from IIT Delhi Alumni group by organising a ‘Leadership Conclave’ in the month of April, 2010. The conclave will be designed with special focus on this particular group of alumni and will help extend them to our alma mater and other constituents of our alumni. As we finalise the agenda and other details for this programme, I seek your inputs and suggestions to make this programme effective for the said purpose.

Also, in order to update our database, may I request for your help in reaching out to ‘IITD Alumni in Leader Positions’ by sending us most current coordinates of our alumni who are in leadership positions in various segments of society, eg, business, government jobs, public service, academia and others, as per the details sought in the enclosed web link (http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?formkey=dFpVVi1VV3dmeHhCNkpUVGNDeU5XdFE6MA). To say the least, we will appreciate your help, which will help us integrate our association further.
